HITCH, John Edward age 73 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Ft. Sanders Medical Center. He was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church, Consultant and past general manager of Mercedes Benz of Knoxville. He was a 32° Mason, member of the George Washington Lodge #181 of Louisville and a Shriner. Survivors include: wife, Barbara “Jo” Phelps Hitch. Son and daughter-in-law, John Michael and Lesa Millsaps Hitch. Grandchildren, Jay Hitch of Louisville, April Morton of Louisville and Brandi Costner of Louisville. Sister and brother-in-law, Betty Hitch Wilson and Gordon Wilson. Niece, Betty Wilson Quickel and her husband Dan. Great nephew, William Brooks Quickel. Special friends, Chuck and Nita Jordon of Texas, Thomas and Carrie Bethea of Knoxville, Steve and Beth Wigley of Louisville. Bill Young of Louisville, Faye and Harold Manning of Maryville. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Joe Black officiating. The interment will follow in Holston College Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
