John Bart Simpson

John Bart Simpson, son of Fannie Me Kirkland Simpson and Lon Ray Simpson, passed away peacefully and went to be with his Heavenly Father at the age of 89 on Monday, September 21, 2015. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Atlantic Theatre during World War II. Preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Elizabeth Simpson. He is survived by his beloved children, Lonnie, Gene, Leroy, and May as well as their spouses; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive 6:00-7:00pm Thursday, September 24, 2015, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with funeral services to follow with Pastor Ronald Reagan officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00 am Friday at Mt Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Loudon County, for the interment with military honors.
