John A. Cox

John A. Cox, 88, died Tuesday, March 6, at Shannondale in Maryville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle; his parents, Edna and O. G. Cox; his brothers, Frank, Owen Guy, and Charles Cox. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Crisp and husband Wayne, Jo Hannah McCall and husband Mac, and Vicki Bryant and husband Allen; his six grandchildren, Kellie Mak and husband Yuk, Chris McCall and wife Ursula, Jon McCall, Andrew Bryant and wife Courtney, Jenny Bryant, and Jacob Bryant; five great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Jonah Mak, Lakin and Colby McCall, and Owen McCall; and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all of his care givers, past and present, at Shannondale. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Middlesettlements Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Ron Fisher officiating.
