Joanne ''Joni'' Lovell Wiggins

January 8, 1941 — October 20, 2010

Joanne “Joni” Lovell Wiggins, age 69 of Maryville, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother received her “wings” and went home to be with our Father and His Son, Jesus, Wednesday, morning, October 20, 2010. After a long bout with several serious and painful medical conditions, she died peacefully in her home. She was deeply devoted to her Christian faith and belief in God. By the way she lived her life, she taught all of us to love. Through her charismatic and world class sense of humor, she taught all of us to laugh often. During her life she worked in several fields including International Banking, creator and owner of her own Salon Business (including publication of a book for operating a Salon Business) and, most importantly, a loving and gentle homemaker. Preceded in death by parents, Woodrow and Florence Whitaker; sister, Barbara Whittaker. She leaves behind devoted and loving husband of 40 years, James “Ronnie” Wiggins; children, Marc and Karen Fair, Michael and Stephanie Fidgeon; grandchildren, Jennafer Fair, Mikenna, Max and Faith Fidgeon. Other survivors include her Brothers, Sonny and Woodrow Whittaker; In-laws, Robert and Mary Simpson, Larry and Linda Wiggins; Nieces and Nephews, Paula Hayden, David Simpson, Ruth “Ruthie” Charlson, Rebecca McCann, Mark and Michael Wiggins, and Laura Kay Richard; Cousins, Susan Cresta and Teresa “Tessie” Little; and her Sister by choice, Gwenyette “Gwennie” Argo. Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010, in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Simpson officiating.
