Jessie Denton Huffstetler

Huffstetler, Jessie Denton age 92 of Maryville passed away Saturday November 17th 2007 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. Jessie was a devoted wife, loving mother, and friend to all who knew her. She was born June 23 1915 in Cocke Co. TN and moved to Maryville at an early age. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lon Huffstetler; son, Derrill Huffstetler; parents, John and Lillie Belle Butler Denton; sisters, Lola Willocks, and Edna Sells. She was a member of Williamson Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Gary “Mike” and Genia Huffstetler of Maryville; daughter and son in law, Peggy and Harold Walker of Maryville; daughter, Linda Sue Alcorn of Leesburgh, FL; daughter in law, Mary Morgan Huffstetler of Locust Grove GA. grandchildren, Brian and Pam Walker, Barry and Missy Walker of Maryville, Cindy and Mike Degraw of FL, Mark and Laura Huffstetler of GA, Jamey and Mary Alcorn of GA, Melody and Rob Arrington of GA, Kelli and Martin Lesch and Michael Huffstetler of SC, 6 great grandchildren, special nieces, Betty Goddard, Brenda Millsaps, very special friends, Frank and Norma Kidd. An extended thanks to the staff at Colonial Hills Nursing Center and to the Blount Memorial Hospice Group for their very caring service. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Tucker and Rev. Louis Hill officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
