FINGER, Jerry Glynn, age 54 of Maryville, passed away Monday, March 28, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He graduated from Porter High School in 1968 and attended Forest Hill Baptist Church as a teenager. He worked at McNutts Oil Company for 24 years and also worked at Maryville College as a maintenance worker. Jerry loved string music and played the guitar in a string band for a while. He was preceded in death by his father, Parks Finger. Survivors include his daughter, Donna Honeycutt and husband Eddie Honeycutt; two grandchildren, Trey and Beth Honeycutt all of VA; mother, Zelma Finger; sisters, Linda Murphy and husband David Murphy, Vivian Nowading and husband Andre Nowading; several aunts, uncles and also several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Zion’s Chapel Cemetery for a graveside service with Bro. Buster Mullins officiating.
