Jeffrey Wayne Collins

Jeffrey Wayne Collins, 47, died suddenly Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was a graduate of Heritage High School. He served in the United States Air Force for six years with tours in Guam and California. Jeff was an avid Tennessee Football fan and enjoyed watching the games with his family and collecting UT memorabilia. He is survived by his wife, Becky Collins, Maryville; stepson, James, Maryville; brothers, Mark and Michael, Maryville; father and mother, Avery and Beverly, Townsend. He was the proud grandfather of Hunter and Keegan. Elizabeth Collins, mother of the grandsons, is a special friend to the family. He loved his dog, Barkley. He was an active member of Broadway Baptist Church and also recently attending Restoration International Outreach Church on Lamar Alexander Parkway. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-7:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Tony Collins and Rev. Pacer Hepperly officiating.
