Jeffrey Howard Carpenter

Jeffrey Howard Carpenter, age 60, passed away at his home on January 23, 2024.

Jeffrey spent his life providing loving kindness to others. He had the biggest heart, and his smile could light any room. He was always curious about everyone around him and had a vivid and active imagination. We will miss him endlessly talking about his love of Scooby-Doo, dinosaurs, and sharks and especially all his hours spent recreating scenes from Star Wars and the Dukes of Hazzard. He worked at Kroger's for many years while he was able and would give his change to others in need.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Audine and JD Carpenter. He is survived by siblings, Carol Andrew, James and Hilda Carpenter, and Jeannine Bryant. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Marquita Andrew, Jesse Carpenter, Sage and Jason Miles, Chris and Tanisha Bryant, and Travis Bryant as well as his great nieces, great nephews, and other family and friends.

Jeffrey was our son, brother, uncle, and cousin. He brought joy and happiness everywhere he went. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of caring for and being loved by our special gift from God.

Family and friends will meet at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Carpenters Campground Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. George Macht officiating.
