Jean Digennaro Buttler

Jean DiGennaro Buttler was born in 1931 in Providence, RI, and passed away on April 12,

2024. She was the youngest of 10 children born from parents Raffaela Natale DiGennaro and

Vitalle DiGennaro. She married Frank Buttler, Sr in 1954 and moved to Dallas, TX, then

Birmingham, AL, and in the past few years in Maryville, TN.

She is predeceased by both of her parents, 9 siblings, and her husband, Frank Buttler, Sr. She

is survived by her three children, Frank Buttler JR (Kathy), John Buttler (Karen) and Charlotte

Chance. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Mary Grace Taylor (Ben), Patrick Morgan

(Emily), Laura Allen (Chris), Matthew Buttler, and Rebecca Buttler (Ben). She had 6

great-grandchildren as well - Nora, Charlie, and Violet Taylor, Bradley and Evie Morgan, and

Theodore Allen.

Jean had the wonderful gift of hospitality and loved feeding her family and friends. Her deserts

and Italian food were her specialities, and were enjoyed by all. Special thanks to the staff at
