MCCLANAHAN, James T. “Little Jimmyâ€, age 81 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2007, at Asbury Place. In the past, he was an active member of East Maryville Baptist Church where he served as Head Usher and a Sunday School teacher. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict, was on the Board of Directors of Sundown Resort for many years, a member of Rockford Lodge #469 and a 32nd Degree Mason, an active supporter of the Blount County Fire Department, President of Everett Band Booster Club and retired from J. C. Penney Company after more than 40 years of service. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Audrey L. McClanahan; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Vicky McClanahan; granddaughter and husband, Jama and Michael Tiller all of Maryville. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Dalton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. www.mccammonammonsclick.com
