James R. (Ronnie) Harrison, 76 of Louisville, passed away August 12, 2015, at Brookdale Browns Creek. He was a member of Armona Baptist Church, a veteran of the U. S. Army, retired from ALCOA and a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Service Club. He was also a member of the Kerbela Shrine Temple and the Prudentia Lodge #719. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Vera Harrison; brothers, Jerry and Roger Harrison. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Glenda; son, Mike Harrison and wife Trenna and beloved granddaughter, Morgan and step granddaughter, Sydney; sister, Ruth Ann Harrison of Maryville and brother, Dave Harrison; special friends and traveling buddies, Jim and Mary Scott and Dorothy and Frank Brown. Special thanks to the staff and wonderful caregivers from Brookdale Browns Creek for their love and support over the past five years. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Bob Lawson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Sherwood Mausoleum for the interment service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Armona Baptist Church, 2211 Louisville Road, Alcoa, TN 37701 or Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc., 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919-6340.
