James Mayford Teffeteller, age 90 of Walland, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was retired from Murphy Surf Air. He was also an Air Force Military Veteran during the Korean War, and a member of The Walland United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Jewel Walker Teffeteller; granddaughter, Megan Renee Teffeteller. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ruby Teffeteller; brothers, Elridge, Lindell, J.C., and Raymond (sister-in-law, Ernestine) Teffeteller.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Lisa Teffeteller; son, Todd Teffeteller and Tom White all of Walland; granddaughter, Mandy Stanton (Danny); great-grandson, Austin (Lauren) Stanton; great-great-grandchildren, Riley, Maci, Vera, Sawyer, and Brayton. He is also survived by three brothers and their wives, Kenneth (Roselle), Don (Imogene), Larry (Jo) Teffeteller; along with sister-in-laws, Frances, Edith, Sherry Teffeteller, Sue Bell, Katherine Sasser; many nieces and nephews.
The family will gather at West Millers Cove Cemetery on Friday, September 16th, at 11:00 AM. All are welcome to join for a brief memorial of his life.
