James L. "Jimmy" Dunlap

James L. Jimmy Dunlap, age 69 of Friendsville, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was retired from ALCOA where he was known as Swimmy. Preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Gryder Dunlap and father, George Lee Dunlap. Survivors include his sons, Jamie Dunlap, Henry Dunlap, John Dunlap; daughter, Sherry Schoffner; grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, James, Allen, Jacky; mother, Margaret Dunlap; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Tony Sowders; nephew, Shawn Tuck. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Bailey officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 26, at Cloyds Creek Cemetery for the interment service.
