James (Jim) F. Warner

WARNER, James (Jim) F., of Maryville, died suddenly, Sunday, December 30, 2007, following a stroke. Raised in Cincinnati, OH, Jim was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and returned often to see them play. Jim retired after 44 years with Lockheed Martin, Oak Ridge, TN. He then joined his wife, Lynne, as a full-time Realtor at her office at Realty III where for the next eleven years he enjoyed their work together as a team. Jim’s pure joy of music lead him to sing with many organizations including the choir at First Presbyterian Church, Knoxville, the Knoxville Choral Society and also with the Knoxville Opera Chorus for 16 years from it’s inception. Locally, he sang with the Don Brakebill Singers and the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church choir. He was a member of the Maryville Kiwanis Club and the Eight O’Clock Cotillion. He was preceded in death by son, Allan Warner, Knoxville. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lynne Bonfardin Warner; daughter, Janet and son-in-law Gary Stemple, San Diego, CA; daughter-in-law, Candy Hammer, Knoxville; former wife, Jeanne Warner, Knoxville; step-children, Lisa Schaad and husband Stuart, Barkley B. Mencer, Knoxville, Brian Bonfardin and wife, Virginia, Johnson City; grandchildren, Geoffrey and Sally Stemple, Matthew Warner and Anna Graham; step-grandchildren, Margaret and Stephen Bonfardin, Andy and Nick Mencer, Jack and Natalie Lynne Schaad. Services will be at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 314 W. Broadway, Maryville, with Rev. Robert Beasley and Rev. Howard Haws officiating. Receiving of friends will follow the service in the church hall. For those who prefer, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 314 W. Broadway, Maryville, TN 37801.
