James Hilburn Hendricks

James Hendricks, age 68, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, September 6, at Kindred Transitional Care. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was born July 3, 1944 and grew up in Alcoa. He graduated from Alcoa High School, attended UTK and retired from Diamond Hill Plywood. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Frankie Hendricks. Jim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda Bailey Hendricks; his son, James H. Hendricks, Jr. and wife Jennifer; daughter, Elly Hendricks Courtney and husband Kevin; granddaughter, Abby Hendricks; grandsons, Wesley Hendricks and Kaleb Courtney; and sister, Pat Wheeler and family of Paducah, KY. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Sunday, September 9, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. The graveside service will be at 11 am on Monday, September 10, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Alcoa, with Pastor Jimmy Hendricks (son) officiating.
