James Eric Headrick

HEADRICK, James Eric, born January 22, 1919, passed away at Blount Memorial Hospital on May 23, 2006. He was a veteran of World War II, European Theater, during and after the Battle of the Bulge. He was employed with ALCOA until his retirement then afterward with the IEBW. He was admired and loved by anyone that knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olwin Whaley Headrick. He leaves behind a daughter, Patricia Budnick; son, James E. Headrick, Jr.; grandchildren, Hope Garner and Robert Ballard and step grandchildren, Kim Collins, Lisa Breedlove, Robin Minihinnett, Teresa Bouer, Tony Budnick; brother, Ralph Headrick. He was great grandfather to Chastity Wilson, Lindsay Johnson, Cody Johnson, Quint, Jack and Jane Marie Breedlove, and Madison Collins. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Headricks Chapel, in Wears Valley, for a graveside service with Rev. Raymond Young officiating.
