James ''Ed'' Turner age 66 of Maryville, passed away Friday, August 23, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Kagley’s Chapel Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired as former owner of Turner Hydraulics and Alcoa Motor Supply. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul Sr. and Elma Kate Turner. He is survived by: his wife, Helen (Thompson) Turner. Daughter and son-in-law, Linda Kay and Johnny Hughes of Maryville. Granddaughters, Kayla and Brittany Hughes. Sister, Lorene Ogle. Sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Caleb Best of Maryville, Dot and Ed Adams of Wafland. Sisters, Alma Rhea Rogers of Walland, Peggy Turner of Seymour. Brother, Paul Turner Jr. of Rockford. Several nieces and nephews. Many special relatives of the Judge Law family. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, August 25', 2002 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Clarence Evans and Rev. Ed Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Kagley’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:30 to 3:00 PM Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Maryville, TN.
