James E. Jenkins

May 28, 1943 — March 5, 2002

JENKINS, James E., age 58 of Knox County, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was an employee of Sea Ray Boats for 20 years and was of the Baptist faith. Jim loved hunting and gardening. He was preceded in death by his father, John Clay Jenkins and sister, Charlotte Jenkins. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Jenkins; mother, Vera E. Jenkins of Tavares, FL; brother, John J. Jenkins of Cosby; sister, Jackie Brannigan of FL; several nieces and nephews; a host of friends. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Cemetery in Townsend for a graveside service with Rev. Mike Shuemaker officiating.
