BOGART, James E., age 74 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at his home. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, ordained Southern Baptist Deacon, a veteran having served during Korea with the U.S. Army Military Police, member of American Legion Post 13, graduate of Everett High School and the University of TN and retired carrier with the Maryville Postal Service after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Feliz J. and Edna Cagle Bogart. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Peggy Francis Bogart; daughter, Leisa Bogart Murphy and husband Edgar Murphy, Jr. of Friendsville; son, Joseph Bogart and wife Sophia C. Bogart of Maryville; granddaughter, Angela Murphy Borbeck and husband Frank J. Borbeck of Knoxville; sisters, Dixie Bogart Enea of Maryville, Patricia B. Gaddis and husband James Gaddis of Maryville; two nephews and three nieces. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Danny Davis officiating. There will be no receiving of friends. The family welcomes anyone that wishes to visit and requests them to do so at the burial site at Grandview Cemetery right after the graveside services.
