James Donald Brookshire

James Donald Brookshire, age 86 of Greenback was born March 27, 1932 and passed away Friday, January 4, 2019, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was retired from United Airlines with 38 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Myrtle Brookshire; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Floyd and Muriel Patterson; sons, Mike Brookshire and Steve Brookshire; grandson, Chris Brookshire. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Edith Imogene Brookshire; daughter, Rebecca Brookshire; sister-in-law, Shirley Fuller; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will meet 2:00 P.M. Monday at Cloyds Creek Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Scott Knight officiating.
