James David “Jimmy†McAmis, Jr., age 63 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at his home. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church, employed by Rockford Manufacturing for 37 years and a veteran of the U. S. Army having served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua McAmis; parents, Jim and Jane McAmis; uncle, Homer McAmis. Survivors include is wife, Terrie McAmis of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Amy McAmis of Knoxville; daughter, Jennifer McAmis of Maryville; son, D. J. McAmis of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Craig McKeehan of Maryville; grandchildren, Meghan, Ava, and Lydia McKeehan; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Debbie McAmis of Maryville; uncles, Charles McAmis, Ted Langford both of Maryville; aunt, Marie Thomas of Maryville; nephews, Brad and wife Natalie McAmis, Ben and wife Kippie McAmis, Jacob and wife Melissa McAmis, Jordan and wife Cara McAmis; father-in-law, Marvin G. Cupp of Maryville. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Smith officiating. The interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to One Vision International, P. O.
