Saturday morning, May 13th, Daniel went to the party of his life and reunited with his father, Big O (James Clarence Owens III), Granny (Jeanette Owens), Uncle Buck (Roger Owens), Papaw (Bud Lawson) and Grandparents Owee and Paw (Marvin and Louise Floro) at Heaven’s gate.

Left behind in sorrow are his Mother (Laney Owens), Son (Zane Dixon), Sister (Jason and Jenny Pickell), Nephews (Eli Mallernee) and (Derek Pickell) and MANY special friends.

Daniel didn’t meet a stranger and was an encouragement to many. His smile and laughter was infectious and his selfless kindness and thoughtfulness was overflowing. To know Daniel was to Love Daniel.

Daniel was gifted with his hands and worked hard being a skilled block mason, roofer and incredible landscaper. His gentle spirit was as one with nature finding his peace on the river, the lake, the woods or anywhere there was a fire.

Daniel was loving and giving and will be missed by those who love him.
