PORTER, James Coy, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Monday, March 10, 2003, at Fairpark Healthcare Center. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, was retired from ALCOA and a member of the 25 Year Service Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Hammontree Porter. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Norma Porter of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Richard Farr of Louisville, Phyllis and Charlie Adams of DeFuniak Springs, FL; grandson, Ronald Porter, Jr. of Maryville; granddaughter, Stephanie Porter of Knoxville; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Michael and Kimberly Daves of Richmond Hills, GA; grandson, Scott Daves of Maryville; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Christopher and Robyn Adams of Knoxville; grandson, Ryan Adams of Santa Monica, CA; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, John and Michelene Porter of CA; great granddaughters, Mistie and Niki Daves of Richmond Hills, GA; great grandson, Jacob Adams of Knoxville; four great grandchildren of CA; one sister, Irene McInturff of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Kagley’s Chapel Cemetery for a graveside service with Dr. Robert Brown officiating.
