James A. Turner age 79 of Maryville passed away 3:15 AM Sunday, July 21st, 2002 after a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by: parents, A.L. Turner and Nancy Ellen Talbott. Brother, Bascom Turner. Sisters, Audrey Lancaster and Jewel Harris. 3 grandchildren. Survived by: loving wife, Nadine Turner. Step-daughter, Bobbie Stacy of Maryville. Daughters, Linda Sullivan of Michigan. Rita Ward of Virginia. Sons, James and Bill Turner of Virginia. Sons, Ron and Wayne Turner of North Carolina. “Adopted-son”, Guy Branaman of Maryville. Sister, Wanda Morton of Louisville, LaVeria of South Carolina, Ernestine Skeens and Tince Skeens of Virginia, Franes Smith of Kentucky. Brothers, Carlos, Gilbert, and Westley Turner. Several grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews. Special nephew, Michael Brown. A memorial services will be 8:00 PM Monday, July 22, 2002 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Ernest Condee and Rev. Jed Emert officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. 865-982- 6812.
