Jackie Lee Henderson Phelps

Jackie Lee Henderson Phelps, age 89 of Louisville, passed away Monday, December 27, 2010, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Walter Ralph Phelps. Walter and Jackie were both active in the Phelps Family Farm. Also preceded in death by her parents, Taylor and Venie Snyder Phelps. Survivors include her children, Jacquelyn Phelps O’Connor, Claire Phelps Perkins, Kathy Phelps Morris, Walter Ralph Phelps, Jr., Hal Doak Phelps, Charles Lloyd “Rooster” Phelps, Sara Phelps Clevenger, Johnnie Lee Phelps; grandchildren, Adam Clevenger, Alli Clevenger, John Hipps, Janie Hipps, Debbie Hipps, Kathy Hipps, Sarah Beth Phelps; sister, Elizabeth Rayburn; brother, Ford Henderson; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Holston College Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Tom Gilliland officiating.
