Ivory Matlock Gipson

Ivory M. Gipson, age 96 of Rockford, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015, at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Gipson; parents, Harrison and Stella Matlock; siblings, half sister, Sue Nuchols; sisters, Mary Biddy Brown, Martha Cogburn; brothers, John Matlock, Willard Matlock, Tom Matlock; half brothers, Homer Matlock and Joe Matlock. Survivors include her children: daughter, B.J. Moore; son, John Gipson and wife Jayne; daughter, Patsy Beasley and husband Steve; grandchildren, Dr.Michael Moore and wife Tammy, Jonathan Moore and wife Becca, Kelleigh Giles and Kevin Kittrell, Burt Gipson and wife Tatiana, Allie Gipson Conway and husband Will, Nick Gipson, Johanna Lasseigne and husband Mitchell, Olivia Beasley; great grandchildren, Gage Moore, Seth Moore, Courtland Giles, Grace Moore, Josh Moore, Addison and Caroline Lasseigne. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Moore officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Zions Chapel for the interment service.
