GENTLE, Ila Ventrice Taylor, age 78 of Maryville, died Friday, December 14, 2001, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was of the Protestant Faith. She was preceded in death by: Parents; George Carl and Myrtle Hayes Taylor. 3 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include: Husband, Jack Mixon Gentle. Son, Jack Mixon Gentle Jr. of Chattanooga. Daughters, Peggy Joyce Gentle of Waynesboro, GA and Patricia Laraine Gentle of Franklin, TN. Grandchildren, Brett Chandler Stinson, Laraine Catherine Stinson, and Laura Allison Maddux. Brothers, Veron Taylor and Louie Taylor both of Columbus, MS. Sisters, Celeste Guyton of Columbus, MS and Sue Lambert of Centralia, ILL. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Monday, December 17, 2001 at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery.
