Hugh Dwight Loveday, of Louisville, passed away Monday. October 9, 2017, at his home. Hugh was retired from UT motorpool and was a 4-H Volunteer Leader in Blount County for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Scarbrough Loveday, parents Homer Dewey and Ida Mae Fleming Loveday and sisters Irene Loveday, Berniece Flynn, Opal Fain and Blanche Lafollette. Survivors include his son, Hugh Dwight Loveday, Jr (Rita), granddaughter Sara Beth Cunningham (Mark) and grandson Andrew Hugh Loveday (Jennifer) and 4 great-grandchildren, Avery Hugh Loveday, Jackson Robert Cunningham, Juna Rae Loveday and Annsley Elizabeth Cunningham. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Rogers officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the TN 4-H Foundation, 205 Morgan Hall, 2621 Morgan Circle, Knoxville, TN 37996.
