Myers, Hoyle Edward age 85 devoted husband, the best daddy in the whole world went home to be with his lord Jesus Christ on February 19, 2011. He was a veteran of World War II having served in Central Europe. He received the Purple Heart and 2 Bronze Stars. He was a member and Deacon of Monte Vista Baptist Church. He retired from the US Postal Service. He was precede in death by his son Ronald Edward Myers, parents George and Nancy Roberts Myers, brother Chester Myers and sisters Norma and Gladys Myers. He is survived by his wife Betty Myers, daughters and sons in laws, Nancy (Star) and Bill Deatherage of Farragut, Ellen and Jim Cromwell and Amy and Rick Schubert of Maryville. Grandchildren, Dane, Zane and Derby Deatherage, Chris and Sarah Cromwell and Lizzie Schubert. Great grandchildren, Payton and Abby Cromwell. Brother and sister in law, Otis and Jean Myers of Atlanta and sister Elnora Bordes, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 6:30 Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Mantooth, Rev. Bob Dalton and Dr. Howard G. Olive and grandson minister Dane Deatherage officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
