Homer Favier Hensley

January 16, 1957 — January 16, 2018

Hensley, Homer Favier - age 61 of Maryville, passed away January 16, 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He had retired from ALCOA/Arconic in November 2017, after 33 years of service with the company. Homer was an avid sports fan, especially of the UT Vols football team and the Lady Vols. He was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his mother, Grace Simpson Hensley, father, David Hensley, Jr., sister, Judy Ensley, and nephew, Christopher Ensley. He is survived by sisters, Junavea Hensley Stewart (John Daly), Kathy Hensley Ladd Parlon (Bob Parlon), brother-in-law, Ray Ensley, Jr., nieces, Peggy Frye and Tabitha Ladd; many extended family members and friends. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 at McCammon- Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Private graveside services will be held with Rev. Wayne Roach officiating.
