Hobart B. ''Steve'' Nolan

February 19, 2002 NOLAN, Hobart B. (Steve), age 77 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He retired from ALCOA after 31 years of service. He served in the U. S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Nellie Ray Nolan; a brother, Hubert and sister, Kate Hatcher. Survivors include his sister, Verna Duncan of Maryville; his friend and companion, Barbara Albright; best friends, Lawarnce Crye and Owen Hatcher; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2002, at Williamson Chapel Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Jackie Lee Minkiff officiating.
