Herold Whitehead

Whitehead, Herold, 93, passed away on June 13, 2022. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service and achieving the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. During his time in the military, he was stationed in England, France, and Thailand, while also traveling widely throughout Europe and East Asia. Preceded in death by wife, Geraldine June Whitehead; parents, William and Rachel Whitehead; numerous brothers and sisters; and companion, Evelyn Whitehead.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, David and Nancy Whitehead; grandchildren, David Whitehead, Rachel Whitehead; and several nephews and nieces. Special thanks to Danny and Evelyn Whitehead, Amy Howard, and Becky Davis.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 17 at 10:00am at Old Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
