Helmi N. Kitts

Helmi N. Kitts, age 95 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at her home. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Maryville and a former longtime member of Main Street Baptist Church, Lake City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Seigle Kitts; sister, Margaret Murphy; brother, Gus Nylund. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Joe Styke of Maryville; daughter, Kristin Barge of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandson, Logan Tyler Styke; niece, Dana Murphy; nephew, Danny Murphy. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Main Street Baptist Church, Lake City, with Rev. Wayne Phillips and Rev. Larry Bradley officiating. The interment will follow in Leach Cemetery.
