Helen Lane Householder

Helen Beatrice Lane Householder passed away Saturday at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by: parents Abie & Bessie Lane; daughter Janice Householder; brothers Leonard & Kenneth Lane; husband Leland "Dee" Householder and son Steve Householder. Survived by: Son & daughter-in-law Ron & Lisa Householder; granddaughter & husband Amanda & Terrence McDonald; great-granddaughter Juliana. Grandsons Ronald Householder, Jr. and Tanner Rose; Grandson Jason Householder; great-grandchildren Luke, Kassidy & Eli Householder; several nieces & nephews. Helen graduated from Everett High School in 1947 and was still close with many of her classmates. She was retired from Western Auto with over 15 years of service. One of her greatest joys was working with her beloved husband Dee for 25 plus years as a volunteer at Blount Memorial Hospital. She loved plants, flowers & having a garden to tend to. She enjoyed canning and "putting up" vegetables, jams, jellies & her famous Red Hots apple butter. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses & CNAs at Blount Memorial Hospital, Morningview Transitional Care, Asbury Place 2 South & 1 South and with Caris Healthcare for the great care she was given. A special thank you to nephew Lynn Lane, daughter-in-law Lisa Householder, Jason's girlfriend Robin Cardwell, sister-in-law Neva Householder and nephew Eddie Householder. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in Maryville with a service at 1:00 pm officiated by Rev. Tater Wells followed by a procession to Knob Creek Cemetery for a graveside service.
