Helen J. Hammontree

Hammontree, Helen J. Age 81 of Maryville passed away Saturday May 6th 2006 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church, Greenback, and was retired from Levi Strauss. She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis M. Hammontree, and grandson Kenneth Melton, brothers, Jack and Ed McClurg, and sister Elizabeth Hayes. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Anne and Jerry Melton of Maryville, son and daughter in law, Terry and Kathleen Hammontree of Maryville, grandchildren, John Melton, Jim Melton, Brooke Melton, T.J. Hammontree and fiancé Courtney Jenkins, Cody Hammontree and wife Amanda, and sister Margaret Smith. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 Tuesday at Oakland United Methodist Church, Trigonia in Greenback with Rev. Jim Harless and Rev. Stephen Yeaney officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
