Helen Campbell Knox Eggers

Helen Campbell Knox Eggers, age 94 of Alcoa, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at her home. She had been a member of Calvary Baptist in Alcoa since the age of 9. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Knox, former Mayor of Alcoa, and second husband, A. D. Eggers. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Steve Whitehead of Harriman, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Nancy Knox of Maryville; grandchildren, Melissa Graves (Mitch), Tony Knox, Samantha Mascari (Anthony), Steve Whitehead, Jr. (Pam), Andy Whitehead (Cristy); great grandchildren, Ryan (Michelle), Drew and Alex Whitehead, Jamie and JaiLynne Whitehead, Echo and Leo Mascari; 2 great great grandchildren, Brayden and Cameron Whitehead; brother, John Alexander Campbell (Judy) of SC; step-daughters, Judy Wilhite and Debbie Ledford and their families. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2017, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home.
