Hazel Frances Pickel

Hazel Frances Pickel, age 90 of New York, formerly of Maryville, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013, in New York. She was of Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Pickel and parents, Charles and Rudolphia George Elkins. Survivors include her daughters, Dr. Virginia M. Pickel and Reva Sue Pickel-Gardner; sons-in-law, Dr. Jose Musacchio and Isaac Gardner; granddaughter, Yasmine (Ginny) Labarca; grandson-in-law, Thomas Labarca; great grandchildren, Thomas (T.J.) Labarca, Nicholas Labarca, Kaitlyn Labarca all of New York; brothers, Jesse Elkins, Weyman Elkins both of Maynardville and Frank Elkins of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bernie Hutchinson officiating. The interment will be at 12:00 noon Friday at Magnolia Cemetery.
