Hazel Compton Goddard

Hazel Compton Goddard, age 93 of Maryville, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at Blount Memorial Transitional Care. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville, member of the Order of Eastern Star #133, was a retired tax consultant and taught kindergarten for 16 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Goddard; parents, Perry E. and Ellen Cody Compton; sisters, Edna Garner and Thelma Henry. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Larry Fitzpatrick of Knoxville; son, W. James Goddard of Vonore; brother, Edward D. Compton of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Dottye Compton of Memphis, TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brenda Carroll officiating. The interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
