Harold L. Tuck, age 87 of Maryville, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017, at the family home. He is now taking his grand tour of Heaven, admiring the Master Carpenter's great handy work and getting fishing tips from the disciples. He was member of Carpenters Campground United Methodist Church and a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He was retired from Cecil Humphrey Construction as a respected carpenter and built many homes and commercial buildings in the area. He loved spending time with his family, loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Preceded in death by his parents, Mose and Violet (Potter) Tuck; brothers and sisters, Raymond, Wanda, Angelee, Don, Dale, Larry, and Steve. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Helen (Wilson) Tuck; children, Sandra Boruff (Jim), Jeffrey Tuck (Janet); grandchildren, Chris Boruff, Jamie Monger, and Evan Tuck; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Poole (Roger) and Betty Coning (Albert). Funeral services will be held 11:30am Monday, February 20, 2017, at Carpenters Campground United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Boruff and Rev. Peggy Meade officiating, The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 10:00-11:30am Monday at the Church.
