Harold Garnett Traylor

TRAYLOR, Harold Garnett, age 58 of Maryville, TN, formerly of Thomaston, GA, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2007, after a short illness with liver cancer. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1972, Rank E-5. He served his Lord as a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church, Maryville, TN. For many years, he was a propane gas route salesman/truck driver in Blount County. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Garnett Traylor. Survivors include his spouse of 36 years, Charlene Walker Traylor, formerly of Swannanoa, NC; daughter, Sherri Dietrich; granddaughters, Gillian and Genna Dietrich; mother, Willie Whitman Traylor; brothers and sisters, Marie Niemi, Evelyn Adams, Alton Whitman, Robert Whitman, Lorine Mitchell, Burl Traylor. Family and friends will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, at the TN Veterans Cemetery Rotunda in Knoxville, TN, for a military graveside service with Bro. Tom Hatley and Bro. Jeff Irwin of the Fellowship Baptist Church and Pastor Ed Santana of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church officiating. If preferred, memorial donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund, 1102 Big Springs Road, Maryville, TN 37801, in lieu of flowers.
