Gordon P. Wolfe

WOLFE, Gordon P., age 86 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church, was a retired Superintendent of the Aluminum Company of America and was a member of the 25 Year Service Club. He served with the U. S. Navy in World War II in the Southwest Pacific area. He was preceded in death by his wife, Allene McSpadden Wolfe; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Wolfe of Maryville and brother, William Wolfe of Knoxville. Survivors include: son, Roger Wolfe of Knoxville; grandchildren, Nancy Wolfe Burkett of Media, PA and Daren Wolfe of Charleston, SC; sister, Catherine (Mrs. John) Landers of Maryville; brother, Harold Wolfe of Clinton, TN. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Howard Olive officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Madisonville City Cemetery in Madisonville for a military graveside service. Military honors will be provided by the Volunteer State Honor Guard.
