Goldie Holloway Benson

BENSON, Goldie Holloway, age 88 of Maryville, died Wednesday, November 21, 2001, at Fairpark Healthcare Center. She attended Williamson Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include: husband, Charles E. “Derby” Benson; sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Martha Benson of Maryville, Paul and Tammy Benson of Chattanooga, Don and Camilla Benson of Maryville; grandchildren, Gwen Benson, Travis Benson, Marshall Benson all of Maryville, Brooke Carico, Steve Benson both of Hixon, TN and Matt Benson of Charlotte, NC; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Beulah Hines, Wilma Taylor, Juanita Burns, Ola Mae Holloway, Ruth Bonesky all of Rockwood, TN; brothers, Hoyt Holloway, Joe Holloway both of Rockwood, TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew Benson, Rev. Warren Mounts and Rev. Gaye King officiating. The interment will follow in Williamson Chapel Cemetery for immediate family. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, TN.
