Glen Edwin ''Eddie'' Asbury, Jr.

Glen Edwin Eddie Asbury, Jr., 66, of Maryville, TN, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at UT Medical Center. He was born October 24, 1947 to Glen Edwin Asbury, Sr. and Kathleen Meredith Asbury in Tazewell, VA. Eddie was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to all. He is survived by his wife, Judy Wohlwend of 14 years, son, Brandon Shane Asbury (Laura & sons Landon and Cooper) of Louisville, son, Shannon Brock Asbury (Aleisha) of Knoxville, brother, Charles Michael Asbury (Sheila & son Dustin) of Reston, VA, as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and parents-in-law. Eddie worked for Tennessee Associated Electric for 40+ years. He enjoyed attending Maryville High School football and Lady Vols basketball games with his wife, cooking for family gatherings and spending time with his sons and grandsons. The family will be receiving friends from 12:30-2:00 pm at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home on Sunday, November 24. Funeral service will follow. Eddie will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville, TN following the funeral service. The family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Knox County Arc, 3000 N.
