Glen E. Householder, 82, passed away Friday, October 3, at Sterling House of Maryville. For over 50 years Glen was an active participant in so many youth and community events. He was a charter member of Green Meadow United Methodist Church. Glen served with the Navy in the Pacific from 1943-1945 and the 1st Calvary Division in Korea from 1951-1952. He was a retired salesman from West Chevrolet. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie; parents, Guy and Lucille Householder; brother, Herman and sister, Mildred Sanford. He is survived by sons, Alan of Sevierville, Gary and wife Janet of Louisville, KY; daughter, Glenda and husband Darrell Eastridge of Alcoa; grandchildren, Cindy and Brian Householder and Jeff and Amy Eastridge; sister, Juanita Lawson of Knoxville; nieces and nephews; special friend, Wilma Mantooth. A very special thank you to Sterling House and all their employees for their loving care. Memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Buzz Trexler officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Greenwood Cemetery for the interment service.
