Gerry Ann Barrett Ferrell

Gerry Ann Barrett Ferrell, age 78, Rockford, TN, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church (Maryville, TN) and Northminster Presbyterian Church (Macon, GA). Gerry was a devoted Al-anon member for over 30 years. Her deep spiritual (Christian) devotion was the foundation for the graciousness, generosity, devotion, wisdom, humor, and love that she shared with all she loved. Preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Margaret Barrett of Waycross, GA, her sister, Nancy Davis Fluery of Blackshear, GA, and her sister, Aubrey Vicky Ziegler of Savannah, GA. Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Steve K. Ferrell, Jr. of Rockford, TN; sister, Patricia Ziegler and husband Ben of Savannah, GA; sons, Harry S. Ferrell of St. Simons, GA and Steve K. Ferrell, III and his wife Shelby of Yadkinville, NC; daughters, Phyllis E. Ferrell and her partner, Kathy Coyte of Louisville, KY and Anna C. Busbee and her spouse Milford of Lizella, GA; grandchildren, Joshua Ferrell of Brunswick, GA, Thomas Busbee and wife Laura of Atlanta, GA, Brandy Ferrell of St. Simons, GA, Emily Ferrell of Winston-Salem, NC, Lee Busbee of Monticello, GA, and Steve K. Ferrell, IV of Yadkinville, NC; great grandchildren, Sarah Ferrell of St. Simons, GA and Felicity Busbee of Atlanta, GA; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with The Rev. Dr. Billy Newton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, at Music Funeral Home, Waycross, GA. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Music Funeral Home.
