She was a wonderful mother to her children and daughter-in-law. She too was a wonderful “mother” to many special people, too many to name. Georgia truly enjoyed her friends, many from her teenage years, and many she encountered over the years. She was noted for her sharing of laughs, stories, beautiful flowers, a good cup of hot coffee, an antique blue plate, biographies of interesting people, walking the Greenbelt, and politics with friends and family.
Georgia was most currently a resident of the Asbury Place Assisted Living Facility in Maryville, Tennessee. Georgia was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville, Tennessee.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Asbury Place for taking daily gentle care of her.
Revelation 21:4 - “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
Georgia’s entombment will be a family private event at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville, Tennessee alongside her husband Joe.
