Gay Leslie Jenkins, Sr.

GAY LESLIE JENKINS, Sr., age 87 of Louisville, TN, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, June 3, 2003. He was retired from ALCOA and had built several homes in the Blount County and Kingston areas. He was preceded in death by: parents, James Phillip and Della Mae Jenkins; infant son, Howard Paul Jenkins; brothers, Hoyt, Emil, and Alvin Jenkins; infant sister, Mary Jenkins; stepsons, Jerry and Larry Ellison. He is survived by: wife, Melva Dean of Louisville; son, Gay Leslie Jenkins, Jr. of Highland, IN; daughters, Joan Ferrarone of Miami, FL, Mary Ann Perez of Elgin, IL, Betty Sue Severance of Sargent, TX, Barbara Cool of Bakersfield, CA, Loretta Golinda of Calumet City, IL; stepson, Robert S. Ellison of Maryville; brothers, Fasset Jenkins of Tapoca, NC, Geter Jenkins of Maryville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 5, 2003, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. with the Major Dewey Alderson officiating.
