G. Wendell DeLozier, age 88 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday evening, September 17, 2008, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was born in Sevier County, TN, and moved to Blount County in November 1924. He worked at ALCOA and was a retired dairy farmer. He was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Junior Department Sunday School Director. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Mae DeLozier and sister, Helen DeLozier McCall. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Pearl Roberts DeLozier; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Don Trundle of Powell, Betty and Steve Reagan of Maryville, Beverly and Dale Tucker of Greeneville, TN; grandchildren, Wendy Hansard and husband Jason, Wes Trundle, Brad Reagan, Holly Reagan, Caroline Tucker and Andrew Tucker; brothers and sisters-in-law, Garland and Tommie DeLozier, Bob and Betty DeLozier, Lynn and Mary Lynn DeLozier; brother-in-law, Paul Roberts; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Long and Rev. Ted Davis officiating. The interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
