CANNON, Fred E., age 82 of Maryville, TN, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2006, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Smoky View Baptist Church, served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was a retired Building Superintendent for State Record Company in Columbia, SC and was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Gwen Cannon; wife, Helen Harker Cannon; son, Bob Cannon. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Mary Gina and Jim Bush of Tallahassee, FL, Dr. Linda Jo and Gary Hodgin of Columbia, SC, Cerese Ann and Michael Long of Columbia, SC, Cindy Faye and Shawn Miller of Columbia, SC; step daughters and step sons-in-law, Mary Caroline Phillips of Knoxville, TN, Helen Constance (Connie) and William Dale Burnstein of Maryville, TN, Laura Jean and David McClure of Maryville, TN; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Sena and Mike Morgan of Stone Mt., GA; beloved dog, Casper. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006, in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Martin officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2006, at Elmwood Cemetery in Columbia, SC for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smoky View Baptist Church, 5101 W.
