BAKER, Fred L., age 89 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2006, at Asbury Place, where he lived with his wife, Wanda. He now lives with his Lord and Saviour. He was born in Honesdale, PA, was of the Methodist Faith, attended the Assembly of God Church, he was a 20 year veteran of the U. S. Air Force, having served in Korea. He was a devoted husband and father who adored his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Miller Baker; daughters and sons-in-law, Kearney and Jim Collier of Kingsport, Amy and Harold Hardin of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Dain and Vicki Baker of Maryville; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Marion Baker of Houston, TX. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Crisp officiating. The interment service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
